Blunt filter needles are used for the draw-up of medication, reconstitution of drugs and for accessing IV bags. These are often used to replace standard hypodermic needles and further reduce the risk of needle stick injuries.
Our Blunt filter needles have 45° bevel to reduce core drilling of the vial cap and contain 5 micron filter to ensure effective filtration of contaminant particles such as glass, metal, rubber and other materials. They are also compatible with all standard luer lock syringes.
Usable for glass bottles or vials.
Needle 18G helps to ensure that flow is not obstructed during sampling. Needle 1 1/2″ helps penetration of different septum barriers. The intense purple color of the hub helps needle identification.
