Know Medical
Our History
Know Medical was founded in 1990.
In the beginning its main activity was technical assistance to other companies and registration of medical devices by the Italian Minister of Health, later it started manufacturing semi-finished items for important companies of disposable medical devices. In 1997 it was building the first plant in Via Guido Rossa, Industrial Area Gerbolina, in Viadana (MN), where it’s still working.
In 1999 Know Medical got the CE Certificate for the first ranges of disposable devices class Is and IIa in according to European Directive 93/42/CEE. In 2007 the company Quality Management System was certified by the notified body 0425 ICIM SpA according to ISO9001 and ISO13485. Currency we have certification in according to ISO 13485:2021.
In 2012 Know Medical double its area building a new plan for warehouse. In the 2018 Know Medical realise a further production plant (new clean room) and double business area and warehouse increasing total area to 5000sqm.

Wide product range
Our huge catalogue includes disposable devices used in several hospital departments: Administration sets (infusion and transfusion sets, burette sets, extension lines, flow regulators), sets for preparation and administration chemotherapy drugs, bags for enteral and parenteral nutrition, sets for para-thoracentesis, urine bags and urological sets, catheters, bellows and bottles for drainage post-surgery, elastomeric pumps and Huber needles.
Research and Development
We work to improve our products and we are available to answer our customer’s requests for new products. We can produce sets “on demand”, according to the final user specifications. We can produce non-standard products, even for low quantities. Last developments are new High Vacuum bottle for drainage post-surgery in which we have eliminate totally collapse of tube that caused blockage with resulting closing and breakdown of items.
Global Vision
We’ve taken part in the most important international medical fairs for several years and we have customers in many European countries, in Northern Africa, Middle East and in Southern America. That’s why we have a good knowledge of international markets and we’re always open to new business cooperation.
